Nothing signifies love on Valentine’s day more than the signature red rose.
This classic sought-after gift has its heart in the right place but what happens if you like many others are allergic to pollen?
Whilst many hayfever sufferers are affected by tree pollen and wind-pollinated plants some people can be allergic to the pollen of cut flowers.
People with severe allergies can even suffer from asthma attacks.
Faux La Fleur was created to solve this exact dilemma, it all started with a pollen allergy, one that made sure real flowers definitely couldn’t be used for a family wedding.
Turning our hand to creating the bouquets for that wedding got us thinking, what if we could provide this service for others who find themselves due to allergies at a loss for floral products?
We began investigating allergies related to pollen and flowers to assess how many people are unable to enjoy real flowers due to pollen allergies.

This estimation presented its own questions, where do all of these people buy flowers from? How do they hold a wedding bouquet made from lilies and roses or send their loved one Valentine's flowers?
It was then we decided no longer would these people go without, and thus, Faux La Fleur was created.
